In mid-2022, I joined Arrive Health through Artium to enhance patient care by developing a unified patient history system. We integrated insurance data using Kotlin Spring for the backend and TypeScript React for the front end, focusing on HIPAA compliance and efficient data management. Our team collaborated closely with Arrive Health, extending Terraform for infrastructure and applying Extreme Programming practices. Resoundant, a leader in medical technology, partnered with Dev3l Solutions to refine their agile practices and enhance team collaboration. Initially, we developed a licensing dashboard using the nVisti platform to manage MRI machine licenses efficiently. Following this success, I became an Agile Technical Coach, holding weekly sessions to implement XP practices, improve collaboration, and provide technical guidance. From January 2020 to March 2022, I collaborated with nVisti, developing advanced ballistics applications. I led projects integrating mobile apps with Bluetooth peripherals, enhanced e-commerce through Shopify, and introduced DevOps practices. Notable achievements include creating a ballistic app for Superior Optics, integrating Garmin watches, and improving real-time data management for competitive shooting. Applied Ballistics
Applied Ballistics, a leader in precision shooting solutions, collaborated with me from January 2020 to March 2022 to enhance their tech capabilities. Key projects included developing a license generator website, integrating a bullet data pipeline with Dropbox, and creating a custom event tracking application. Ballotpedia
From July to October 2018, I developed a custom CMS for Ballotpedia using Python Flask and React JS. This secure system, integrated with Google Authentication, streamlined content management with YML-based layouts, scheduling, and staging articles. The project enhanced operational efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate information during voting seasons, leveraging Extreme Programming practices for continuous improvement.
WRG - Western Reserve Group Insurance
At WRG, I modernized legacy JEE applications, implemented agile methodologies, and enhanced security protocols, significantly improving operational efficiency and software quality from 2010 to 2012. As the sole in-house Java developer, I optimized critical insurance systems and automated builds and mentored team members, driving transformative change and ensuring reliable, secure financial transactions.
TDT - Justice Data Solutions
At Text and Data Technologies, I led the development of a JEE application for the justice system and modernized legacy systems in Progress 4GL. As a Java Web Developer intern at Westfield Insurance from Feb to Oct 2007, I developed and maintained JEE applications, implemented unit testing, and enhanced code quality through automation.
